Health & Safety Requirements

Here at Performance Plus K9 Activity Center we take pride in providing a safe, clean, healthy environment for your dogs.  We constantly manage and supervise the dogs in our care as if they were our own beloved pets.  When dogs play they use their mouths and feet as they run, jump, tackle, and wrestle with each other.  When dogs have more than just a well-fitted, flat buckle or quality plastic snap release collar around their neck, the danger of getting caught up in another dog’s mouth is greater.  Dogs need to come to Train-N-Play wearing appropriate “play clothes” to minimize the risk of injury.

Equipment requirements for participating in our Train-N-Play Day Care program:

* Dogs MUST come in on or provide a properly fitted, good quality, flat buckle or plastic snap release collar without tags or adornments. We recommend flat snap release collars made by Lupine®.

* Dogs will not be allowed to wear Seresto® collars during Train-N-Play. We would prefer you leave the Seresto® or other type of flea collar at home for safe keeping.

* Dogs will not be allowed to play wearing a harness.  They MUST wear a well-fitted, quality, flat buckle or snap release collar during Train-N-Play.  They may come in on a harness as long as you provide a well-fitted, quality, flat buckle or snap release collar for playtime. We will be taking the harness off before putting them into their crate.

To aid in keeping all the dogs in our care healthy, we ask that you DO NOT bring your dog to Train-N-Play Day Care if he is sneezing, coughing, hacking/gagging, has an upset stomach or diarrhea.  We recommend that you consult with your veterinarian and advise us of the findings.

Thanking you in advance for your co-operation and patronage.
