Canine Good Citizen Prep Class – Teach the Behaviors Behind the Title 🐾🏅
Want to build a well-mannered, confident companion? Our CGC Skills Class is focused on teaching the essential behaviors that form the foundation of the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program.
Whether your dog is just starting their good citizen training journey or you’re working toward long-term goals like therapy work or CGC certification, this workshop will help you teach and reinforce key life skills in a clear, supportive environment.
We’ll focus on introducing the 10 different test items required to pass the CGC test. Read more about each test item here. Please note – dogs joining this class should already have some training foundation, as we’ll be focusing on teaching CGC specific skills, not introducing basic loose leash walking or attention.
This is a skills-building class so you’ll get step-by-step guidance, training tips, and real-time feedback as you and your dog practice together.
