Does your dog lack general basic life skills? Do you live a busy lifestyle and don’t have to time to commit to fixing your dog’s bad habits? Are you going on vacation and want to come back to a well-behaved dog?
If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, our Super Stay-n-Train Program is for you!
Our Super Stay-n-Train Program is an immersion-learning program designed to get your dog started with the behaviors needed in order to become a well-behaved member of your family. Using science-based, positive reinforcement training methods, we will teach your dog how to behave at home and out in the world. Our program implements structure, routine, and rules into your dog’s life to rid them of their bad habits and create a new, well-mannered dog. This program is not designed for serious behavioral problems, reactive or aggressive dogs, or dogs that have high levels of fear and anxiety. A minimum stay of 2 weeks is required to allow your dog the time needed for behavior changes to occur.
Each day your dog will participate in our Train ‘N Play program, where they will receive daily playtime, stimulating interaction, entertaining activities and lots of individual attention. He will be trained multiple times throughout the day; in our facility, outside, around distractions, etc. At the end of the day he will return to his kennel exhausted and emotionally satisfied, ready to have dinner and settle in for the night reassured that everything is okay.
What you can expect your dog to learn:
- Name recognition
- Loose leash walking
- Sit with implied stay
- Down with implied stay
- Sit at doorways
- Leave it
- Appropriate greeting to people (no jumping!)
At the end of your dog’s stay, you will have a 45-minute private lesson with a trainer to transfer the training techniques to you for continued and consistent use, and to ensure your dog’s training is as long-lasting and effective as possible. Pick-up lessons must be scheduled in advance to ensure trainer availability.
