Performance Plus K9 Activity Center was very proud to host the Summer 2016 Parvene Farhoody Operant Conditioning Chicken Workshops. People from all over the country traveled to Raynham, MA to attend these educational workshops. We also had attendees from Japan, China and France. The staff, instructors and management of Performance Plus K9 Activity Center were delighted to attend these phenomenal workshops so as to broaden our knowledge and skills to better serve the dogs in our care.
The Parvene Farhoody Operant Conditioning Workshops are intensive and thorough introductions to applied behavior analysis. Parvene teaches trainers how to be more effective and efficient through the use of humane, science-based teaching. Using an empowering approach that emphasizes positive reinforcement, we can communicate with more clarity and less stress, making learning more productive and enjoyable for both student and teacher.
Parvene has a Masters in Psychology with a concentration in Animal Behavior and Wildlife Conservation from Hunter College and is presently pursuing her PhD in Learning Processes and Behavior Analysis at Queens College in New York City where she is also an Adjunct Professor.
