Whether you are just starting out or are a seasoned competitor, we welcome you. Our mantra for competition obedience is “Put a little wahoo in it!”. We believe that training should be FUN! We use positive reinforcement, shaping and a lot of motivational games to teach the dog to perform with attitude and accuracy.
Agility is a fun, action based sport that requires quick, clear interspecies communication to perform effectively. Our classes focus on communication, handling, and obstacle safety. We offer an array of Agility Classes catering to our customers’ needs and experience levels.
Have you ever marveled at how a dog can search out narcotics or explosives? Nose Work is a new companion dog sport that is based on the methodology used to train working detection dogs. Dogs sniff day in and day out. Here they learn to sniff with a purpose and you will learn to see things from the dog’s point of view…his nose!
This is the newest dog sports competition venue. It incorporates a variety of skills and is geared towards the pet dog owner who is looking for new ways to have fun with their dog.
We offer specialized classes for dogs that have issues being around other dogs and/or people. We work with dogs with other behavioral sensitivities as well. These are very intense classes that require a total commitment on the part of the family in order to effect a change for the dog.
Some dogs and/or handlers learn better in a quieter less active environment. One-on-One instruction for any venue is available. The beauty of private training is that you can modify the pace of the instruction to suit your needs. Since your dog is the only one being trained, the goals are customized to your pet.
