LOBBY
- No dogs in the lobby.
- Only one person in the lobby at a time.
- Face masks must be worn in the lobby while conducting business.
- While on PPK9 property, face masks must be worn during any face-to-face interactions with staff, instructors, groomers and patrons.
- All staff is to avoid contact with client dogs and their leashes. If contact is necessary, gloves will be required.
- High touch, high traffic areas in the lobby will be cleaned and sanitized repeatedly throughout the day/evening.
- We will do our best to provide hand sanitizer for your use but we encourage you to bring your own to ensure your own safety.
ARENA
- Number of people in the arena at one time will be per the Governor’s mandate.
- Social distancing while in class and upon entering and exiting the building is mandatory.
- While on PPK9 property, face masks must be worn during any face-to-face interactions with staff, instructors, groomers and patrons.
- Antibacterial soap will be provided for hand washing in our restrooms.
- An Arena Attendant will be on duty for the duration of classes/events to perpetually clean and sanitize the restrooms and fixtures, as well as all the frequently touched surfaces, i.e. door knobs, trash can lids, chairs etc. for groups of 6 or more.
- If you don’t feel well or have been near someone who has covid-19 symptoms, please STAY HOME.
CURBSIDE
DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP FOR ALL SERVICES
GROOMING, DAYCARE, BOARDING, PAWS-UP!
- Call the front desk upon your arrival and a Customer Care Specialist will come to your car and get or return your dog.
- If you have business with the front desk, leave your dog in the car and come in to the lobby wearing your face mask as per above.
PET MANNERS CLASSES
- Only one person and one dog may attend class. No guests, spouses, partners, children, etc.
- Face masks must be worn at all times while on PPK9 property.
- Upon arrival for class:
- Leave your dog and your training belongings in your car.
- Check in at the front desk, make
purchases, use the restroom etc.
- Lobby is limited to one person at a time. No dogs. Just you.
- The line to enter the lobby will start to the right of the front door.
- There will be cones marking where to stand to establish social distancing.
- Wait until the person in the lobby exits before entering.
- After you check in:
- Potty your dog 5 minutes prior to your class start time. While you wait for your instructor to call you in, please maintain social distance.
- Class participants will enter one at a time through the front door when your instructor calls you in.
- Once inside, go into the arena and station yourself at one of the chairs set up in the ring. Do not let your dog run up on another dog or person. Do your best to keep your dog in your space.
- Exiting after class:
- When your class ends, exit one at a time
through the side arena door and proceed to your car or to the potty area in the
front of the building.
- Do not linger with your dog in the grassy area outside the side arena door as that will cause a back up for exiting.
- If you need to go to the front desk or use the restroom, please exit the building with your class, put your dog in the car, and then re-enter the building at the front door.
- When your class ends, exit one at a time
through the side arena door and proceed to your car or to the potty area in the
front of the building.
SPORT
CLASSES
Nose Work, Agility, Competition Obedience
- Only one person may attend class. No guests, spouses, partners, children, etc.
- While on PPK9 property, face masks must be worn during any face-to-face interactions with staff, instructors, groomers and patrons.
- Face masks must be worn if adequate social distancing isn’t possible.
- Only instructors and/or arena attendant may touch equipment, reset jumps etc.
- Upon arrival for class:
- Leave your dog and your training equipment/crate in your car.
- Check in at the front desk, make
purchases, use the restroom etc.
- Lobby is limited to one person at a time.
- No dogs, equipment, crates are allowed in the lobby. Just you.
- The line to enter the lobby will start to the right of the front door.
- There will be cones marking where to stand to establish social distancing.
- Wait until the person in the lobby exits before entering.
- After check in:
- Bring your crates and equipment in through the side arena door without your dog,
- The instructor will inform you where your class crating area is for that week.
- Please do not come in until the class before you has exited.
- Crates must be placed a minimum of 6 feet apart. There will be chalk marks on the floor indicating where to place your crates.
- Chairs will be set up for your use. If you prefer, bring your own.
- After setting up your crate, you may come in the side arena door with your dog.
- Exiting after class:
- When your class ends, you will exit with
your dog one at a time through the side arena door and proceed to your car or
to the potty area in the front of the building.
- Do not linger with your dog in the grassy area outside the side arena door as that will cause a back up for exiting.
- Once your dog is secure in your car, come back inside through the side arena door to collect your things/crates.
- If after exiting you need to go to the front desk or use the restroom, please wait until the next class has finished checking in. Then enter through the front door.
- When your class ends, you will exit with
your dog one at a time through the side arena door and proceed to your car or
to the potty area in the front of the building.
